HOW TO USE
1. Wet your hair thoroughly by spray bottle, or a quick rinse in the sink, whichever is most convenient for you.
2. Then section your hair into 4 to 8 sections depending on length and thickness (I usually twist or braid each section). This makes it easier to distribute the product evenly over your strands.
3. Starting with your first section, coat your hair with the product from roots to ends twisting or braiding down each section once complete. Repeat this step for each section.
4. Once all your sections are pre-poo’d do one of the following;
- Apply heat for 10-15 minutes. I usually use a microwavable heat cap, (located under the Must Haves’ tab). Microwave your cap based on the manufacturer's instructions, usually for 1 to 3 min, place a disposable cap or bag over your head, then put on your heat cap. The heat helps the pre-poo penetrate the hair follicle much more effectively, taking your hair deep conditioning and oil treatments to the next level and gently delivering heat to the hair. *Highly suggested*
- If you prefer to add no heat, you can cover your hair with a disposable cap or bag, as your body will provide natural heat. Leave the pre-poo on your hair for 15 to 20 minutes before shampooing.
5. After allowing your pre-poo to soak into your strands, move forward with applying your shampoo by section, directly to your roots on top of the pre-poo’d strands. DO NOT shampoo to the length/ends of your hair! It's the scalp that needs attention The ends of the hair are older and dry and will end up getting more dehydrated after being washed with shampoo.
6. Wash out the pre-poo and shampoo.
7. After the shampoo is completely removed, move forward with conditioning your hair.
8. Rinse out the conditioner.
9. Add your leave-in conditioner, and all is complete on the hair pre-pooing, shampooing, and conditioning!
